Research @ the Centre

We’re building a community of experts, researchers, support professionals, survivors, and caregivers to bridge knowledge gaps and create a united force for change.

By providing a forum for international knowledge sharing and mobilization, we are bringing together multisectoral experts on IPV and BI from around the world to participate in virtual discussions and structured educational webinars on diverse topics.

Our purpose is a coordinated national strategy for IPV-BI support, strengthening community-based capacity to effectively address IPV-BI by supporting survivors through cross-disciplinary training, and targeted resources and protocols. Given that many multi-sector services exist within silos, it is important to provide an opportunity to learn from similar services across Canada, share best and promising practices and resources, and form new networks and partnerships to address existing challenges and gaps in care.
